• Boy, oh boy! These injuries just keep on coming. It was a rough Thursday night with more bad news hitting fantasy owners where it hurts.

Let’s recap some of the injury news first.

Hassan Whiteside is reportedly set to miss 1-2 weeks to rehab his ailing knee, making Kelly Olynyk and Bam Adebayo worthwhile adds in 14-team leagues or deeper.

John Collins hurt his shoulder late in the Cavs-Hawks game and did not return. Ersan Ilyasova played well in 30 minutes off the bench, so we can expect to see more of him in the coming games. This could be a nasty setback for Collins who was just gaining some momentum in fantasy in recent games. Owners will have to just gut it out and hope for a speedy recovery.

The Nuggets have already been hit by the injury bug yet again. This time Nikola Jokic fell to the floor as he twisted his ankle. He limped to the locker room and was ruled out for the game. Kenneth Faried stepped up for the Nuggets and posted a 14-point, 13-rebound double-double. With the Nuggets getting paper-thin up front, Faried gains more and more appeal as an add for his points and rebounds contributions.

The Clippers have been totally disemboweled by injuries and we should see Austin Rivers and Lou Williams come up with some ridiculous lines in the days ahead.
