• I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and is fully back in the fantasy basketball mode.  Due to the holidays throwing off the regular NBA schedule, this Thursday night is one of the busiest of the season.

    Nets (109) @ Pacers (121)

    This was a high scoring affair, but the usual suspects for the Nets weren’t the ones rolling tonight. Brook Lopez posted 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, one 3-pointer and one block in 26 minutes.  Trevor Booker added 16 points, six rebounds and two 3-pointers, but only played 20 minutes.  Justin Hamilton also scored 16 points with eight rebounds, four 3-pointers, one steal and one block off the bench.  Isaiah Whitehead and Bogan Bogdanovic both started, but sat most of the night with horrible box scores.  Jeremy Lin and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson both missed this game due to injuries.

    Paul George led the Pacers with 26 points, three assists, three steals, two 3-pointers and one rebound.  Myles Turner double-doubled with 25 points, 15 rebounds, five blocks, two 3-pointers and one steal.  Jeff Teague got in on the action with 21 points, 15 assists, seven rebounds, two 3-pointers, one steal and one block.  The rest of the team was relatively quiet tonight, mostly because the production was spread out amongst a deep bench tonight.  Monta Ellis played 21 bench minutes, but only added two points, one rebound and one assist.

    Jazz (93) @ Raptors (101)

    Shelvin Mack led the way for the Jazz tonight, scoring 17 points, four rebounds, two assists, one 3-pointer and one steal.  Rudy Robert recorded a double-double with 15 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks.  Gordon Hayward logged 16 points, four rebounds, two 3-pointers and two assists.  Rodney Hood has been awful lately and his cold streak continued tonight with seven points (3-for-10 FG), three assists, two rebounds, one 3-pointer and one block in 35 minutes.  Derrick Favors is still coming along slowly and only played 26 minutes tonight, logging nine points, eight rebounds, one assist and one steal.

    The Raptors relied on their dominant backcourt again tonight.  Kyle Lowry was great with 33 points, six rebounds, five assists, four 3-pointers and three steals.  DeMar DeRozan added 23 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.  Jonas Valanciunas double-doubled with 18 points, 13 rebounds and nothing else.  Terrence Ross played 30 minutes off the bench with 12 points, two 3-pointers, two blocks and one assist.

    Hornets (114) @ Pistons (115)

    Kemba Walker led the way for Hornets as usual, posting 32 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four 3-pointers.  Marvin Williams added 19 points, seven rebounds, two 3-pointers, two assists and one block.  Spencer Hawes came off the bench for 28 minutes of action with 18 points, four rebounds, three 3-pointers and three assists.  Nicolas Batum added nine points, five assists and four rebounds.  Michael Kidd-Gilchrist notched eight points and 13 rebounds.

    The Pistons squeezed out a close one at home tonight.  Reggie Jackson is rolling lately with 22 points, 11 assists, one 3-pointer and two rebounds tonight.  Marcus Morris double-doubled with 20 points, 10 rebounds, three 3-pointers, three assists and one block.  Jon Leuer started but only played 22 minutes with eight points, six rebounds, two 3-pointers and one assist.  Andre Drummond just missed a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds.  Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had an off night with seven points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal.  Tobias Harris has found his niche as the sixth man with 25 points, two rebounds, three 3-pointers, one assist and one steal.  Boban Marjanovic played 22 minutes off the bench due to some Drummond foul trouble and double-doubled with 15 points, 19 rebounds and one block.

    Hawks (99) @ Pelicans (94)

    The Hawks are receiving a lot of media attention tonight due to trade chatter.  Kyle Korver sat this one out due to being shipped to the Cavs.  Dennis Schroder had a solid game with 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two 3-pointers and one steal.  Dwight Howard double-doubled with 12 points, 11 rebounds, one assist and one block.  Paul Millsap played even though his name is hot on the trade rumors currently.  He double-doubled with 17 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block.  Thabo Sefolosha added seven points, six rebounds, five assists, three blocks and one steal.

    Anthony Davis posted 20 points, 19 rebounds, three assists and two steals in 37 minutes.  Jrue Holiday added 18 points, five assists, four 3-pointers, one rebound and one steal.  Buddy Hield was pretty solid tonight with 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, four 3-pointers and one steal.  Terrence Jones double-doubled off the bench with 12 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks, one assist and one steal.  Tyreke Evans is still being eased in with only 13 minutes tonight, adding seven points, three assists and two rebounds.

    Thunder (116) @ Rockets (118)

    Russell Westbrook had himself a game tonight, but couldn’t pull out the win.  He posted a line of 49 points (16-for-34 FG, 9-for-11 FT, 8-for-15 3PT), eight rebounds, five assists and two steals.  Victor Oladipo added 17 points, seven rebounds, four 3-pointers, two assists and one steal.  Enes Kanter double-doubled off the bench with 15 points, 13 rebounds, one assist and one block.  Andre Roberson got 14 points, nine rebounds and two blocks.

    The Rockets were a little more balanced with six players scoring in double digits.  James Harden scored 26 points, 12 assists, eight rebounds, two 3-pointers, one steal and one block.  Eric Gordon had 22 points, five rebounds, five 3-pointers and three assists off the bench.  Nene Hilario had 18 points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in just 17 minutes.  Ryan Anderson added 12 points, four rebounds, two 3-pointers and one assist.  Patrick Beverley got 11 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three 3-pointers and two steals.  Trevor Ariza was a little off tonight with 10 points (4-for-14 FG), three rebounds, two 3-pointers, one assist, one steal and one block.

    Suns (102) @ Mavs (95)

    Yes, the Mavs are bad.  But it is still surprising anytime the Suns grab a win these days, especially on the road.  Eric Bledsoe led the way and sealed the win with 26 points, seven assists, two 3-pointers and one steal.  Devin Booker added 22 points, three 3-pointers, two rebounds and one block.  Brandon Knight came off the bench for 17 points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal.  He also played 26 minutes just after it appeared he had lost his coach’s favor (trade showcasing?).  Tyson Chandler showed his rebounding specialist prowess tonight with 18 rebounds, three points and three assists.

    Dirk Nowitzki is gaining momentum now as he logged 13 points, seven rebounds, three 3-pointers, three assists and one block in 28 minutes tonight.  Harrison Barnes scored 19 points, six rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.  Deron Williams notched 20 points, six assists, four rebounds and two 3-pointers.  Seth Curry played 26 bench minutes and added 16 points, one three-pointer and one rebound.

    Spurs (127) @ Nuggets (99)

    We had a Lamarcus Aldridge sighting tonight as he led the way of the Spurs with 28 points, four rebounds, one 3-pointer, one assist, one steal and one block.  Kawhi Leonard scored 24 points, six rebounds, five assists, three 3-pointers and one block.  Pau Gasol added 17 points, nine rebounds, four assists, one 3-pointer and three blocks.  Tony Parker had a flashback night with 21 points, nine assists and three rebounds.

    Nikola Jokic double-doubled with 19 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and one steal.  Danilo Gallinari added 15 points, three rebounds, one 3-pointer and one assist.  Darrell Arthur started and logged 19 minutes with 13 points, four rebounds, two 3-pointers and one block.  Wilson Chandler added 11 points, seven rebounds and two assists off the bench.  Emmanuel Mudiay and Gary Harris were the starting backcourt tonight, but neither player could get it going.  Both players added eight points, five assists and one rebound each.

    Lakers (109) @ Blazers (118)

    Julius Randle stayed hot with 17 points, nine rebounds, five assists and one steal.  D’Angelo Russell led the way with 22 points, four rebounds, two assist and two steals. Brandon Ingram had 11 points, four rebounds, two 3-pointers, one assist and one block.  Jordan Clarkson had 21 points, three rebounds, four 3-pointers, two steals and one assist.

    Damian Lillard returned from injury tonight with 21 points, 10 assists, five rebounds and four 3-pointers.  C.J. McCollum had 27 points, seven assists, four rebounds and one steal.  Miles Plumlee added 15 points, seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and one rebound.  Evan Turner added 20 points and not much else off the bench.
