Bogdanovic seemed to get better and better as the season went on while accumulating experience in the league. He had already performed overseas but proved almost immediately that his IQ, shooting and passing abilities could translate to the fast-paced NBA.
Bogdanovic received six first team votes and 63 second team votes. He finished the year averaging 11.8 points (ninth best among all rookies), 3.3 assists (11th), 2.9 rebounds (34th) per game and a 44.6 percent average from the field, according to Basketball Reference.
