• Former Utah Jazz F/C Jack Cooley will play for the Kings Summer League team in Las Vegas this year according to Alex Kennedy of Hoops Hype.

Cooley played for the Jazz during the 2014-15 season and posted averages of 1.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in 5.4 minutes per game (16 games) on 40.9 percent shooting from the field. He’s primarily a post-up big who can score in a variety of ways, plus, his larger frame means he’s an above average rebounder.

The 26-year-old spent last season in Germany with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, compiling averages of 13.3 points and 7.1 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per game (20 games) on 59.6 percent shooting from the field. Back in May, the Kings held a free agent mini-camp in Sacramento and Cooley was in attendance; a probable reason for his inclusion on the Summer League roster.
