• The NBA released its All-Defensive First and Second Teams on Wednesday, with Kawhi Leonard joining Draymond Green, DeAndre Jordan, Avery Bradley and Chris Paul on the top squad.

Paul Millsap, Paul George, Hassan Whiteside, Tony Allen and Jimmy Butler made the second squad, and the notable snubs include Jae Crowder, Anthony Davis, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Marcus Smart and John Wall to name a few. Allen still has his fastball but he does it in limited minutes, and KCP was great all season covering No. 1 guys.  Jordan’s numbers have always been under a microscope but he deserves recognition for his rim protection in a down year for high-end defensive centers.  Crowder, Smart and Bradley are a scary combo for opponents and the two snubs will be on this list as soon as next season.
