The Kings have announced their fourth pre-draft workout, which will take place on Thursday. The following six players will be present:
G Shake Milton – SMU
G Allonzo Trier – Arizona
F Jeff Roberson – Vanderbilt
G EC Matthews – Rhode Island
F Gary Clark – Cincinnati
F Jordan Barnett – Missouri
SMU’s Shake Milton is the standout player here. Milton posted averages of 18.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4,4 assists and 1.4 steals in 36.4 minutes per game (44.9 FG, 43.4 3PT) for the Mustangs last season. The 6-foot-6 guard is a talented scorer, who will likely be able to help an NBA team from day one. However, the Kings are seemingly overloaded at guard so adding someone like Milton would be a stretch.
Milton, per NBADraft.net, is currently projected to go No. 38 overall to the Sixers. The Kings hold the 37th overall pick in the second round.
Sacramento have yet to bring in any first round talent during the pre-draft process, but you can expect that to change in the next week or so.
