The Kings have selected Duke’s Harry Giles with the 20th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Giles seemed like the favorite to Sacramento here following the trade with the Blazers. He has a storied injury history with two torn ACL’s which is a major concern.
The 19-year-old compiled averages of 3.9 points and 3.8 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game (26 games) on 57.7 percent shooting from the field. Giles is an upside pick for sure and could follow a similar path to someone like Skal Labissiere, minus the injury history.
