The Kings will reportedly meet with projected lottery pick Wendell Carter Jr. on Saturday.
It was originally reported that Carter would be in Sacramento for an individual workout, but James Ham of NBCS has since clarified it’ll just be a meet and greet.
The Kings, for what it’s worth, saw Carter workout in Los Angeles back on May 23.
The 19-year-old played his college basketball at Duke, alongside projected top-5 pick Marvin Bagley. The 6-foot-10 big man posted averages of 13.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 26.9 minutes per game with the Blue Devils last season, shooting 56.1 percent from the field and 41.3 percent from three.
Carter is currently projected to go No. 8 to the Cleveland Cavaliers, per The Ringer.
