• The Kings plan to pick up Georgios Papagiannis’ third year option, as reported by Jason Jones of The Sacramento Bee on Twitter.

The 20-year-old from Greece has played in just one game this season and has one rebound and no points on the year.

Papagiannis averaged 16 minutes per game in 22 games off the bench last season and put up 5.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

Papagiannis will more than likely see some time in Reno when the Bighorns season begins at the end of this week. With Willie Cauley-Stein, Skal Labissiere and veterans Zach Randolph and Kosta Koufos sharing the front court minutes so far, it’s been tough for Papagiannis to find minutes.
