According to Marc Spears of The Undefeated, Garrett Temple plans to opt into his player option for the 2018-19 season:

Temple’s decision to pick up his $8 million player option puts a decent-sized dent in the Kings’ available cap space this summer, but the team still figures to have around $17 million in space when free agency starts.
In 65 games with Sacramento last season, the 32-year-old posted averages of 8.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 24.8 minutes per game. He shot 41.8 percent from the field and a career-high 39.2 percent from three.
Temple’s fit in the rotation is questionable at this stage, but things may become a little clearer once training camp rolls around.
