Undrafted guard Marcus Foster has agreed to play for the Kings’ Summer League squad this July, according to ESPN’s Chris Haynes.
Foster played for Creighton last season and posted averages of 19.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 31.6 minutes per game last season. He shot 48.3 percent from the field and 41.3 percent from three in 33 appearances.
He’s got a career 3-point percentage of 37.6 percent across four years with Kansas State and Creighton. Foster is obviously a proven shooter and it’ll be interesting to see how that translates during Summer League play.
Tulane’s Cameron Reynolds will also join the Kings’ Summer League squad, as he was signed shortly after Thursday’s draft as well.
Sacramento’s No. 2 pick Marvin Bagley will be on the team, along with last year’s first rounder Harry Giles. The team will be announced in its entirety in the coming weeks.
