Tolliver was officially waived by the Kings on June 1 which meant they avoid paying him the full $8 million he was originally slated for if kept past his June guarantee date.
Sacramento will stomach $2 million of Tolliver’s contract next season instead of stretching his owed salary over multiple seasons.
As a result of not stretching his salary, the Kings will have slightly less cap space this summer but the damage is so minimal it will barely affect the team at all.
Per a source, Kings did not stretch Anthony's Tolliver's salary for next season. He was waived June 1 and owed $2 million next season.

This went unnoticed, but my sources indicate the same as Nate's report. Smart move by SAC. Better to just eat it all this year vs spreading. https://t.co/l0LTlol3bg
