The Kings have interest in selecting Duke F/C Harry Giles with the 10th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft according to ESPN’s Chad Ford.
Ford has developed a reputation for missing on many Kings related items in the past so it’s hard to trust him at this point. Giles is a huge risk with two torn ACL’s in his past but based on pure talent and upside alone, he’s remained projected in the first round.
In 26 games with Duke last season, the 19-year-old compiled averages of 3.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 11.5 minutes per game on 57.7 percent shooting from the field.
