According to TMZ Sports, Kings forward Zach Randolph was arrested in Los Angeles on Wednesday night for possession of marijuana with intent to sell. TMZ also clarified that “the intent to sell” part was due to the large amount of marijuana found during the arrest.
Randolph recently signed a two year, $24 million deal with the Kings in July, so the franchise will be following this development closely.
UPDATE: Randolph’s agent released a statement regarding the matter.
Zach Randolph’s agent Raymond Brothers told AP “The charges are false & misleading. We’re looking at all options to resolve this matter"
