Kings forward Zach Randolph has been charged with two misdemeanours following his arrest in Los Angeles on August 9 according to TMZ.
Per the TMZ report, Randolph has been charged with possession of more than one ounce of marijuana, and also for resisting arrest.
Originally, he was arrested for felony possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, purely based on the amount he was carrying at the time.
It wasn’t looking too good at first for Randolph, who was potentially looking at jail time. However, this was probably the best case scenario for the newly signed Kings veteran.
It’s still possible that he could spend up to one-year behind bars if convicted on both counts, but because it’s his first arrest he might not spend any time behind bars at all.
