According to a report from James Ham of NBC Sports California, Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic will be undergoing a minimally invasive meniscus debridement procedure after a slight tear of the meniscus was discovered in a postseason MRI.
The exact cause of the injury wasn’t stated, but Ham does note in his piece that Bogdanovic had some extra mileage on his body prior to his first full season in the NBA after playing last summer in Europe. Ham also added that he is “expected to make a full recovery in time for the team’s training camp schedule.”
While the lack of rest last summer may not have been a direct cause of the injury a full offseason should be good for Bogdanovic, who established himself as one of the more promising young players in the organization last season.
