• The Kings have announced their second pre-draft workout which will take place this Wednesday. The players invited to attend:

    G Jaylen Hands – UCLA
G Thomas Wilder – Western Michigan
    G Devon Hall – Virginia
    F Rawle Alkins – Arizona
    F B.J. Johnson – La Salle
    F George King – Colorado

Five of the six players are currently projected to go undrafted in June’s draft, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they become irrelevant for the Kings.

Undrafted players are often brought in by teams during Summer League, training camp, and sometimes beyond depending on how they perform.

Arizona’s Rawle Alkins is projected to go 33rd to the Dallas Mavericks, per Sports Illustrated, and he could be in play for the Kings at No. 37. Alkins, however, is a guard and the Kings do have a generous helping of guards currently on the roster.

Another player to keep an eye on is UCLA’s Jaylen Hands. Hands has yet to hire an agent, meaning he can return to college if he desires, but he impressed during the Draft Combine and has scouts keeping an eye on him.
