The Stockton Kings, Sacramento’s G-League affiliate, officially announced their logos and uniforms for the 2018-19 season on Wednesday.

It was announced on April 9 that the franchise decided to relocate its G-League team from Reno to Stockton. The move, which was officially approved by the Stockton City Council on April 17, brings the affiliate team closer to Sacramento and makes player movement between the two teams much easier.
NBA teams are starting to utilize their G-League affiliates more frequently, and this move is another sign that the developmental league is becoming a bigger part of the game.
The NBA appears headed down the same path as Major League Baseball in regards to their minor league system, and that’s certainly promising news for the league as a whole.
The Kings are currently conducting pre-draft workouts for the upcoming draft in June, and whilst the majority of talent coming to town for those workouts are expected to go undrafted, a few of those players could end up in Stockton next season.
