The Sacramento Kings have waived forward Anthony Tolliver according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
Tolliver had a June 1 guarantee date for the second year of his contract, meaning the Kings will stomach $2 million instead of the full $8 million this season.
In 65 games with the Kings last season, Tolliver compiled averages of 7.1 points and 3.7 rebounds on 44.2 percent shooting from the field and 39.1 percent shooting from three.
The 32 year old will now be an unrestricted free agent and will be free to sign with any team during free agency (except the Kings).
The Kings will have another contractual decision to make in the coming weeks. Arron Afflalo is due to make $12.5 million this season and could face a similar fate to Tolliver, as Sacramento has a $1.5 million buyout option to decide on him following the draft (June 23).
