Rajon Rondo

Rondo (back spasms) has been listed as probable for Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals on Sunday.

Rondo has been battling back spasms for the past few weeks and continues to pop up on the injury report. He played 22 minutes in Game 1 on Friday, scoring seven points to go with nine assists and two steals. While certainly not in the prime of his career, Rondo provides the Lakers with a more than adequate ball-handling option and his value to the team is certainly noteable.

LeBron James

LeBron James (sore right groin, ankle sprain) appears as though he will play in Game 2 on Sunday after being listed as probable.

It is going to take more than a couple of minor injuries to keep LeBron off the court and barring any major setbacks, he should be good to go on Sunday. James was somewhat passive in the series opener and so he could look to be more aggressive on Sunday as the Lakers look to establish a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals.

Dion Waiters

Dion Waiters (sore left groin) continues to battle an ongoing groin injury and has been listed as doubtful for Game 2 against the Nuggets on Sunday.

Waiters has failed to have any real impact for the Lakers and his presence on the court is far from noteworthy. With Rajon Rondo and Alex Caruso providing adequate guard production off the bench, Waiters is really nothing more than a spectator at this point.

LeBron James

LeBron James (sore right groin, ankle sprain) should be good to go for Game 2 on Sunday, per Frank Vogel.

James suffered the injury during the first quarter in Friday's Game 1 victory after stepping on the foot of Jerami Grant. Despite the injury, James played out the game, and although he only scored 15 points, he looked relatively untroubled. It doesn't sound too serious and given the importance of the game, it would likely take more than this to keep him off the court on Sunday.

Dwight Howard
C, Los Angeles Lakers

Dwight Howard is being considered for the starting center position in Sunday's Game 2 against the Nuggets, according to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel.

Howard played 16 minutes during the Game 1 victory on Friday, ending with a solid stat line. He came off the bench but was moved into the starting lineup to begin the second half. More details should be available closer to tip off, although, Howard is someone to consider in DFS based on his contributions in Game 1.
