Kris Dunn
PG, Chicago Bulls

New General Manager for the Bulls, Marc Eversley told the media that Kris Dunn didn't participate in the Bulls' minicamp because he is still "not healthy" as he continues to recover from an MCL injury that he suffered on January 31.

Dunn is a restricted free agent this offseason and definitely improved his stock in 2019-20 by proving that he can play multiple positions on the court and does not need to be pigeon-holed into the point guard position. He should garner some interest around the league and it will be interesting to see how much money the Bulls' new management is willing to invest in the 26-year-old.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Rockets have gotten permission to interview some assistant coaches for their opening at head coach including Denver's Wes Unseld Jr. and Dallas' Stephen Silas.

The Rockets are looking for a new coach after the team parted ways with Mike D'Antoni. There have been other names floated out there including Doc Rivers, who recently parted ways with the Clippers. Stay tuned as the coaching carousel continues.

Marc Gasol

According to reports, Marc Gasol will leave the NBA to join FCB Barcelona for next season.

It is possible that we saw the last of the Gasol brothers in the NBA with this news. Pau Gasol is close to retiring and is unlikely to play another minute in the NBA while Marc is on his way back to his hometown in Spain. It is worth noting that Barcelona's head coach, Sarunas Jasikevicius, told Emiliano Carchia of Sportando that “We have not talked to Marc Gasol." We will have to wait for all the moves from the offseason but there is definitely some center minutes that got vacated if Gasol does in fact leave Toronto.

Shams Charania of The Athletic is reporting that former Clippers coach Doc Rivers is expected to meet with the Sixers in the Philadelphia area.

The Sixers are taking their time to execute a thorough coaching search, with an emphasis on a coach that will be able to connect with both Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. Ty Lye and Mike D’Antoni have already interviewed with Philadelphia and Rivers is another name who has shown the ability to coach big NBA names.

The long-term future of Raptors President Masai Ujiri, whose contract runs out at the end of next season, is a growing concern among the team’s fans, but the chairman of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, Larry Tanenbaum, said on Tuesday that there is a plan for it.

The Raptors wanted to take care of their senior management first, with extensions for coach Nick Nurse and general manager Bobby Webster kicking in during the last few weeks. Ujiri is next and any talk about him leaving Toronto seems to be pure speculation at this point.
