Fantasy News

  • Derrick Favors
    PF, New Orleans Pelicans

Derrick Favors (lower back soreness) is listed as probable for Wednesday's game.

Favors and teammate Jahlil Okafor have both been upgraded to probable. This news should push Jaxson Hayes and Nicolo Melli back to lesser roles.

  • Jahlil Okafor
    C, New Orleans Pelicans

Jahlil Okafor (lower back soreness) is listed as probable for Wednesday's game.

He was previously considered questionable but should be good to go after being out for about a week. Outside of his last appearance on January 13, Okafor hasn't delivered much value recently and Derrick Favors is also expected to be available.

  • Dwight Powell
    PF, Dallas Mavericks

Confirming earlier reports, Dwight Powell has a ruptured right Achilles tendon and is considering surgery.

This is likely a season-ending injury for Powell. Maxi Kleber should see an expanded role for the remainder of the season.

  • Patty Mills
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Patty Mills is available on Wednesday despite suffering a mild left hip injury on Monday.

That explains why Mills played just 12 minutes against the Suns. Mills has averaged 11.7 points and 2.0 assists per game in a reserve role.

  • Marvin Bagley III
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Marvin Bagley (left foot soreness) will not play on Wednesday.

Bagley had missed eight consecutive games with a foot sprain prior to playing on Monday. The Kings are being careful to ease him back. The good news is that Bagley looked excellent when he did return, posting 15 points and 15 rebounds. Nemanja Bjelica should see a boost in usage.

  • Kawhi Leonard
    SF, Los Angeles Clippers

Kawhi Leonard (left knee soreness) will not play on Wednesday.

Even the injury report hints at load management being the reason for this absence. Unfortunately, the Clippers are still missing Paul George so Doc Rivers will have to be creative. Montrezl Harrell could have a big night.

  • Paul George
    SF, Los Angeles Clippers

Paul George (strained left hamstring) will miss Wednesday's game.

George has been missing from game action since January 5. He could be close to a return, but it won't happen against the Hawks. The Clippers will be quite shorthanded and Ivica Zubac should see some big minutes.

  • Patrick Beverley
    PG, Los Angeles Clippers

Patrick Beverley (sore right groin) will miss Wednesday's game.

Beverley suffered the injury during Monday's game. Landry Shamet hit five triples during that one and could be a hot short-term pickup.

  • Rudy Gay
    SF, San Antonio Spurs

Rudy Gay (illness) took part in the Spurs' shootaround on Wednesday and should be available for their game against the Pelicans.

Gay had been listed as probable, so this isn't surprising. He has averaged 10.7 points and 5.8 rebounds this season.

  • DeAndre' Bembry
    SF, Atlanta Hawks

DeAndre' Bembry will miss Wednesday's game against the Clippers for personal reasons.

Bembry hasn't delivered much outside of steals lately. De'Andre Hunter may see a bit more action in his stead.
