The final stretch in the 4th quarter was ugly, but the Kings had done enough to win previously, and it held up. Damien Barling is postgame!
Kings put up a heck of a fight but a 2 minute stretch in the 4th doomed their upset attempts. Slick coaching move by Luke Walton… Small ball. No Greek Freak, no problem. Bucks 5-0 with Giannis. Exciting 3rd quarter. Luke Walton press conference.
Great overall performance following the trade deadline for the Kings. Consistent shooting and solid defense led the way. 20 forced turnovers. Still a problem getting to the line. No Richaun Holmes tonight. Harry Giles started and was very effective in the 14 minutes he played. Big nights from Belly and Bogi.
Aaron Bruski joins host Damien Barling to discuss the Kings moves at the deadline… plus, basketball IQ topics and Luke Walton’s recent moves.
Kings move to 19-31 after a 113-109 victory over Minnesota. They made it interesting. A 20 point lead went down to 3 but the Kings held on. Great night from Fox. Impactful performances from Bazemore and Dedmon.
Kings dominate from behind the arc. Three-point shooting shuts down the Clippers. Fox’s 34 leads the way. Thoughts on Buddy coming off the bench and Marvin Bagley’s injury.
The Kings suffered their 5th straight defeat for the third time this season… this one a heartbreaking overtime loss in Miami. Damien Barling is post-game! Plus, thoughts on the Ariza-Bazemore swap.
Some familiar faces took some unfamiliar roles. The Kings used a huge 4th quarter to down the Phoenix Suns … winning back to back games and 3 of their last 4. Dedmon and Giles play key roles with Richaun Holmes out.
In their first game of the new year and their first game of the new decade, the Kings win the strangest back and forth of the season, beating the Memphis Grizzles and snapping an 8 game losing streak.
Kings lose their 522nd game of the decade and their 22nd of the season. A short-handed Clippers team had no trouble handing the Kings their 8th straight loss, 105-87.
Kings lose their 5th straight, falling to Minnesota 105-104. Fox and Bagley both leave the game with injuries. Damien Barling has your post-game report!
Kings win and they win big. This game was everything the Kings needed it to be. Except the turnovers. Despite the blowout their were a couple of notable DNP-CD’s on the box score.
This game was incredibly boring… until it wasn’t. Kings win on a late go ahead from Bogi. The win masks a poorly played game that saw the return of Marvin Bagley. The win amplifies the fact that the Sacramento Kings are now a team that can win games because of their defense. Poor shooting stretches from both teams left this game wide open at the end and once again the Kings take advantage. Next show, Friday night following the Kings vs Knicks.
BELLY AT THE BUZZER!!!! Kings beat the Rockets 119-118, winning there second game in two nights in Texas. The Rockets a frustrating team to watch. Awful. What the Kings have done without Bagley, Fox, and at times, Bogi has been really incredible. The lackluster Western Conference and the Kings commitment to defense has put this team in a great position. Back at it Wednesday vs OKC.
A 28 point career night from Richaun Holmes wasn’t enough to make up for the loss of Bogi as the Kings lose in Portland 127-116. Most points given up by the Kings this season. Tough way to start a really difficult 4 game road trip. I’m a Yogi guy!!! Kings didn’t take advantage of opportunities. I’ll try to get a show up on Friday. No show on Sunday (first night of a back to back) … Back at it Monday after the game against Houston.
