First year doing games cap per position
8cat roto

Our lineup is as follows
PG, SG, G, G, SF, PF, F, F, C, C, UTL

Right now it’s set to 85 per position. Is that not enough?

85 is a nice starting point. If you like it, keep it as is. If you get to the end of the year and think "man I wish I could have used my bench more, lift it to 88 or 90 next season. You can make benches deeper, too, to help hit higher games caps.

Out of interest what made you decide to do games caps? I can only think that would be really frustrating for me as a player.

You absolutely MUST have a games cap in roto. Otherwise whoever streams the most wins. That's unacceptable.

Can’t you just manage the streaming though with a trades/acquisitions cap?

That's way less fun. I'd way rather make a bunch of moves and then decide on whether I want to start the guys, as opposed to just being forced to do nothing because of a moves limit. Moves limit feels like more of a h2h weekly thing...
