• Welcome folks, to the third and final installment of the 2019 Draft Guide ADP Report. Our last volume and market testing was conducted on October 9th. This one is updated with fresh ADP columns for both Yahoo! and ESPN to guide you through the last weekend of drafts before the season begins.

I’m going to keep this brief and to the point. No other player in the NBA landscape benefitted more from the recent week of preseason action than Tyler Herro. He’s been phenomenal. Yes, people are scampering to grab him like he was the last bottle of Evian in the desert. From an ADP of 141.0 to 132.6, the people have been searching for a “Herro” and it appears they believe they’ve found one in Tyler.

Is he that good? Not likely, but, there’s definitely a lot to like with what we’ve seen and heard. Unless he’s the surprise second coming of Stephen Curry, we should expect some regression come the regular season when he’s facing full and regular NBA lineups as well as the impatient stares of a possibly irate Jimmy Butler, who may or may not be notorious for such things. Is Herro a top-130 player? Maybe not, but still, if you’re aching for a burst of 3s towards the end of your draft and aren’t feeling any trust for Eric Gordon’s history of knee problems, then Herro is a workable upside alternative.

Second. The Zion Express has blasted off thanks to his crazy, out-of-this-world athleticism. He is the real deal and has been going as early as the second round of standard-league drafts that I’ve been in. Epic. Is it all hype? No, but some of those market forces are driven by the awe-inspiring promise of insane stat lines he might deliver. Zion Williamson is a one-of-a-kind player and there’s no surprise as to why his stock has risen so sharply. We’re believers. We’re not stopping you. Reach away. Have fun.
