On the surface this deal looks lopsided but here me out. Trade deadline is Wednesday – limited trading partners. I gain two games first week of fantasy playoffs and potentially more. Kemba has a bum knee and almost certainly misses games, almost certain to sit the back to backs. Middleton also could be occasionally rested if the Bucks continue to win at this pace. I’m punting FG% and TO Covington seems to play on the days with lesser overall games. Any input would be appreciated.

    14 Teams, H2H, non-keeper, standard 9 cats (FG%, FT%, points, 3’s, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, TO)
    G-Beal
    G-Trae Young
    F-Josh Richardson
    F-Middleton
    C-Myles Turner
    UTL-Conley
    UTL-Melton
    BN-Melton, Ariza, Dillon Brooks

    INJ – Kemba

Hrmm…. you can get more. That’s what it comes down to for me. Sure you can argue yourself into it, but you can get more.

I potentially could get more but the trade line is Wednesday and limited teams trade. So the question is more: does this improve my chances to win in playoffs? So it’s basically a this is it or nothing type situation.

Hmm… impossible to know but I think I might stick with your guys. The punt-FG% certainly makes Graham a much more interesting piece, but dang it’s such a dropoff in that deal

I could trade Kemba for Graham straight up. I assume Graham gets 3 games to Kemba’s 2 almost guaranteed. I don’t see any scenario where Kemba plays in back to back sets – and that’s best case scenario.

      Someone offered LeVert for Kemba

Ultimately it’s your team, and you live with your moves, but it seems like your league mates are trying to lowball you for Kemba. I understand why you’re trying to unload Kemba, but it’s tough to trade down that much value, even looking ahead

There’s a reason it’s called basketball “silly season.” Value is all relative going into fantasy playoffs since there is no sense in category chasing.
