Alexis Ajinca turned in a robust game on Thursday night, scoring 22 points on 10-of-20 shooting from the field and 2-for-2 at the foul line.
Ajinca added nine rebounds, two assists and a steal, though he did turn the ball over five times. There just aren’t any healthy bodies left in New Orleans, and guys like Ajinca can get 36 minutes and go nuts with ’em. Given the lack of functioning big men, and for as long as Ryan Anderson is out, Ajinca could serve as a low-end center.
