Blake Griffin scored 15 points to go with nine boards and six assists in Tuesday’s match against the Spurs.
Griffin went 4-for-13 from the field and shot 2-for-7 from beyond the arc. He hit 5-of-6 free throws which is nice, but tallied zero defensive stats. Owners were thrilled in the beginning of the year with Griffin’s production without Chris Paul taking away usage, but the fact is the stat set deficiencies and injury concerns are still there. Before this game he was shooting 42.2 percent from deep on five attempts. That efficiency will likely decrease, dragging his field goal percentage with it. He doesn’t block shots or steal the ball enough to buoy his fantasy value either and is currently the 65th ranked player over the past five games. If you can still sell him high for early round value you should definitely try.
