Jaron Blossomgame will play for the Austin Spurs on a standard G-League contract next season.
The Clemson forward was selected with the second-to-last pick of the 2017 draft and was initially reported to be signing a two-way contract with both the San Antonio Spurs and the Austin Spurs. These are deals where a player is able to make an NBA salary on a pro-rata basis when with the parent club, while also being able to earn his G-League salary when with the affiliate team. However, this is not the case and he will be in G-League indefinitely until further notice. He averaged 4.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in 22.0 minutes during the 2017 Summer League.
