Aaron Gordon managed just 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes during Tuesday’s double-overtime win against the Heat.
Gordon hit 3-of-4 free throws and it’s not a terrible line but one look at the rest of the box score and owners are not going to be thrilled he can’t get a piece of the action. Simply put, he needs to play heavy minutes at power forward and it’s not going to happen until there is a trade or injury ahead of him in the frontcourt. He’s a clear hold and even a buy low target but the question is when it will all come together — and like last year — what will the ROI be?
