• Buddy Hield saw 22 minutes of action off the bench in Wednesday’s loss to the Rockets, scoring 12 points on 5-of-14 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, one assist and one steal.

This is probably your last best chance to buy low on Hield heading into the break, which has served as an unofficial extension of the so-called veteran minute limits after players like Skal Labissiere, Frank Mason and George Hill exited stage right.  Hield hasn’t taken well to the sporadic minutes and touches but that will start to change as the team morphs away from the vets and into more effective playmakers like Bogdan Bogdanovic (20 points, four rebounds, five assists, two steals, four treys) and De’Aaron Fox (nine points, three assists), rather than what Hill and Zach Randolph (DNP-CD) have brought to the team.
