Jeremy Lamb’s cooling off period continued in Wednesday’s blowout win over the Heat, as he hit 5-of-12 shots (0-for-4 from deep) for 10 points with four rebounds, one assist and one block in 19 minutes off the bench.
If the game is closer he plays a few more minutes and yada, yada. We’ve been warning about this cooling off period and talking about how it should be offset by increases in playing time as the year goes on. The Hornets haven’t had a lot of games lately so the cooling period hasn’t given Lamb a whole lot of chances to redeem himself. It’s a perfect storm to make an add by somebody foolishly dropping him, or to get him as a throw-in piece for a larger trade.
