Kyle Lowry shot 3-of-12 from the field and just 2-of-7 from deep in Wednesday’s victory, finishing with 12 points, two rebounds, seven assists and a steal.
Lowry shot 0-of-8 from deep on Monday and wasn’t much better tonight. He got a little slack for the poor performance against the Clippers with the team on a long trip and playing in a back-to-back but the shooting touch didn’t meet up with him in Phoenix. Still, Lowry’s second triple was a big bucket late in the game to keep the surging Suns at bay. K-Low was also tasked with slowing down a scorching Troy Daniels late in the game and locked down on defense to preserve the lead. He’s always there to make a big play when Toronto is in need and he’ll come around for fantasy owners soon enough. A buy low offer for the perennial top-30 option is a pretty good idea.
