Mike Conley returned to action after missing multiple games due to an Achilles’ injury in the Grizzlies’ 101-99 win over the Pelicans on Monday, scoring 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting (including three treys) with one rebound and 10 assists in 27 minutes.
Conley doesn’t appear to be completely out of the woods just yet with his Achilles’ injury and his minutes and steals totals reflect that. He said after the game that the fans shouldn’t worry if they see him in his precautionary boot. In a contract year and being a very good NBA player, it would seem that this is a pretty good buy low chance but there is plenty of risk. If you can get him for a top-60 player you’re probably doing it right.
