Robert Covington shot a dismal 30.8 percent from the field on Thursday en route to his 11-point performance.
RoCo is in a bit of shooting slump. This is his third straight game where he’s connected on a third or less of his shot attempts from the field. He did make three treys tonight and grab five boards. He’s finally fallen back down to Earth after an insane start to the season. As with all shooters, Covington will run cold once in a while. He’s not going to be this bad all season and should bounce back soon enough. Consider this as a buy-low opportunity for the Sixers’ top 3-and-D guy.
