Robert Covington went 0-for-11 from the field in Thursday’s loss to the Jazz, finishing with one point to go with six rebounds, three assists and one steal over 32 minutes.
Covington struggling against a good Jazz defense isn’t too surprising and as usual he got you numbers elsewhere, but this year’s swings seem a bit more pronounced on the offensive side. The good news is that even when shooting 34.6 percent from the field he’s bringing back top 100-115 value. Slumps and surges can last half seasons for shooters like this so if he ever turns it around it could be a pretty magnificent sight. Either way he’s a hold and buy low asset.
