Thaddeus Young was one of Indiana’s least productive players despite 33 minutes of court time on Wednesday, shooting just 2-of-8 to finish with five points, six rebounds and three steals.
Young has always been a strong contributor in steals but it’d be nice to see more with so many minutes headed his way. On the flip side, the fact that he’s still getting this much playing time is a huge positive. The Pacers had talked about trotting out a younger frontcourt duo but Thad has played at least 33 minutes in four of his last five. As long as the minutes are there he’s a strong bet for top-100 numbers, even with other players applying some healthy pressure.
