Victor Oladipo scored 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting (including two threes) with seven rebounds and one assist in 38 minutes on Friday against the Rockets.
Oladipo is among the more confusing and polarizing fantasy assets in the league. He fits the profile of a young, improving player owners typically want on their squads, but he’s drastically underperforming compared to his ADP and Russell Westbrook appears to be an immovable object as the foil to his value. In addition, Oladipo has all but disappeared in the defensive stat categories with just 0.7 combined steals and blocks per game. He’s running at a top-70 value on the year and he has been terrible lately, making this a great buy low moment in our book. He simply has nowhere to go but up and we’re guessing the entire year will be a learning experience.
