DeAndre Jordan returned to the scene of the crime in Dallas and scored 23 points on 6-of-7 shooting (11-of-19 FTs) with 20 rebounds, two steals and two blocks in Monday’s win over the Mavs.
Jordan and his teammates had to know what a big game would do for Jordan’s confidence after this past summer’s drama. J.J. Redick added 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting (including four treys), Chris Paul went for 27 points, four rebounds, seven assists, three steals, two threes and 12-of-18 FGs, and Jamal Crawford joined the party with 15 points on 5-of-15 shooting, four rebounds, three assists and a steal in the win. Crawford won’t be a great bet for late-round value now that Austin Rivers (10 points, three rebounds, three assists, two threes, 26 minutes) is back and Blake Griffin will eventually return, as well.
