Brandon Ingram finished his season with 11 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals on Wednesday against the Lakers.
Ingram hit just 5-of-16 shots from the field and 1-of-2 from the line and both of those areas are key concerns for his fantasy value. Finishing in the bottom of the top-250 despite playing in 79 games and averaging 28.9 mpg, the 40.2 percent field goal shooting and 62.1 percent mark from the line were simply brutal. We can see the field goal shooting improve in short order but the foul line appears to be more mental, so that’s a crapshoot. He cleaned his act up from the field after the All Star break and generally improved his play, hitting 47.5 percent, but the foul line was even worse at 54.5 percent. The money counting stat potential is strong and the upside is there, but percentages will be the name of the game.
