No. 54 draft pick PG Kay Felder scored six points on 3-of-10 shooting (0-for-1 3PTs) with two rebounds, four assists, six steals and two blocks over 29 minutes in Saturday’s Summer League loss.
The Cavs paid $2.4 million to draft the undersized sparkplug out of Oakland University so the expectation is that he should probably make the roster and/or spend time in the D-League. The rookie averaged 24.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 9.3 assists last year while getting to the line eight times per game. There’s not a lot of meat to the bone for fantasy owners while he’s in Cleveland, but if he sticks in the league there could be potential for production.
