Al Horford was efficient during Wednesday’s regular season finale, going 5-for-8 from the field to finish with 12 points.
He rested the entire final frame as the Celtics cruised to the No. 1 seed out East. Horford’s season was marred by injuries, most notably a significant concussion, and he played just 68 games in total. Still, on a per game basis he produced top-40 value behind his ability to generate assists and threes from the center position while also contribute in blocked shots. He isn’t getting any younger, but it isn’t difficult to see him bouncing back next season if he can remain healthy.
