Otto Porter played 15 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Heat in the Wizards’ season finale, scoring 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting with six rebounds.
Porter sputtered at the end of the year due to a back issue that was probably linked to his ongoing hip issue that’s somewhere between nuisance and long-term risk of some type. That’s not going to stop teams from making an aggressive run at him as a restricted free agent this summer (nor should it), and the Wizards aren’t in a great position to match. Porter finishes the year as a top 15-30 play in 9- and 8-cat leagues, respectively, crushing it for owners that drafted him in the late middle rounds.
