Rudy Gobert saw his fantasy value slide in 2019-20, finishing 39th and 36th in 8/9-cat per-game value, respectively.
Gobert saw a slight dip in his blocks, down 2.0 per game from a previous 2.3 in 2018-19. Where he did manage to see an improvement in is the rebounding category where he crashed the boards for 13.7 RPG, up from 12.8 in 2018-19. Overall, this was something we at Hoop Ball called out, expecting the years to finally take their toll and that the big man would manifest some of that wear and tear. Regardless of his decline, the "Stifle Tower" remained Utah's number one fantasy asset for the season. Fade him a bit moving forward, but be sure to do it in-stride with his mileage.
