Tristan Thompson was the one of just two active starters for the Cavs on Wednesday but only played a half, finishing with just 10 points, four rebounds and a steal in 18 minutes.
Thompson shot 5-of-6 and was at least helpful in that regard. He finishes the year as a top-150 per game asset, with top-120 total value thanks to 78 games played. TT is an important part of Cleveland’s mix but is an underwhelming fantasy asset, as evidenced by his averages of 8.1 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks. He shoots .600 on 5.6 attempts but that’s essentially nullified by his .498 free throw shooting. Thompson is a cheap double-double and little else, and that is unlikely to change any time soon.
