Wilson Chandler did not play during the season’s final game against the Thunder.
Hamstring and groin injuries did end up costing him eleven games this season, but Chandler finished the season healthy despite being rested. Coach Michael Malone wanted to get an extended look at Juan Hernangomez and Malik Beasley in this one, so he rested both Chandler and Danilo Gallinari. Chandler was a top-100 player on a per game basis this season, finishing with averages of 15.7 points, 1.5 triples, 6.5 boards, two assists, 0.7 steals and 0.5 blocks. His skillset is immensely fantasy friendly, but the Nuggets’ direction remains one of the offseason bigger questions so it’s difficult to predict exactly what Chandler’s role might look like in 2017-18.
