The oft-hyped Aaron Gordon can’t seem to get off the ground this year, adding to his frustrating campaign with seven points and four rebounds in Wednesday’s loss.
Gordon is outside the top-170 over the full season, and the trade of Serge Ibaka did nothing to help his prospects despite hopes to the contrary. He really should’ve been dropped awhile ago despite his tantalizing upside. Owners playing Gordon in hopes of cashing in a playoff round lottery ticket have busted yet again. He was the only member of the starting five to score in single-digits on the evening despite 29 minutes of action. Maybe next year.
