Aaron Gordon scored 41 points on 14-of-18 shooting (while adding five triples) with 13 rebounds and two assists in Tuesday’s 125-121 win over the Nets.
Gordon returned from injury tonight and was a man on a mission. He refused to cool down from deep, going a perfect 5-of-5 from beyond the arc, and crashed the glass hard to earn his double-double. His absence of any defensive stats is the only flaw in his performance tonight, but that should round out slightly as he gets his legs back under him. He could be set for a breakout season now that he is locked in at the four following a disappointing 2016-2017 campaign he spent miscast as a three.
