Aaron Gordon played 13 minutes and failed to score with only two rebounds Wednesday against the Hornets.
Yikes if you started him tonight. He picked up two quick fouls in the first quarter and never found his rhythm. Head coach Scott Skiles unsurprisingly decided to give him the yank and he never saw the floor again. The game was looking like a blowout until a furious comeback by the Magic in the fourth quarter where the almost erased a 26-point deficit. Andrew Nicholson came on to play admirably in Gordon’s absence (13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks) but we do not expect this trend to continue. Expect a bounce back effort for Gordon in the next one.
