• Al-Farouq Aminu shot just 3-for-11 in Wednesday’s 91-93 loss but was far from a disappointment thanks to six rebounds, two assists, two threes, four steals and a block in 35 minutes.

Make sure Aminu is owned across the board. He’s not going to lose the starting power forward job and the Blazers need his versatile defending on the floor as much as possible. He’s an asset in steals, rebounds, threes and blocks, and players like that don’t grow on trees. Aminu is returning middle-round numbers right now and is a safe bet to squeak his way into the top-100 at season’s end.
